Stampfli originated from Switzerland and have been a market leader in fine racing shells, Stampfli's have since been outsourced and built in Byfleet alongside the famous Janousek brand though I believe that the Swiss factory is still going.
This particular Stampfli is the very recognisable "tear drop" shape, with a very narrow and shallow bow and the widest point of the boat at the foot stretcher where the wing rigger is attached. This is a very popular shape and offers speed and stability.
This Stampfli has been booked in for a Full Valet as well as a Impeller fitting. The boat is in good condition but needed a good clean and polish through out as the white had started to turn yellow and had extensive limescale build up, as well as that it also had a few war wounds in the shape of some chips and scrapes all of which were filled and polished out. After a few hours the boat looks like new please have a look at some of the photos.
